Itʼs been suggested by a variety of smarty pants and well funded studies that smiling relieves stress, contribute to future success, helps people live longer, and possibly make you more money. Smiling simply because it feels good and makes those around us feel good might be the best reason of all.

Next time youʼre feeling down, take a second to breathe and curl up the ends of your lips.  Not a full blown smile, just a little half smile. Hold it for a few seconds.  Does it affect your mood?  Does it make you want to enjoy a full blown grin?
